Alameda is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Alameda follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Upon entering, its dark, empty and no greetings. Theres 2 kiosks to order at. .y drink came outta quick, but when I said thank you, I got nothing. 2 people behind the counter just walked away. You definitely heard me say thank you! Even before picking up my drink he slid on the counter. The drink itself, I ordered a matcha. it was okay.. nothing extraordinary, or even good. Unfortunately, I won't return and after reading the other reviews I see they aren't working towards making the space inviting.

Drinks actual fruit pulp and taste fresh. Definitely a good find. 2 Kiosks available to order. They have dairy and non dairy options. Located in South Lake shore market complex, do lots of parking.

The Strawberry Oolong Tea was alright. Usually most really Asian places at 100% sweet is either just right or not sweet enough. Yifang is surprisingly too sweet (strawberry puree syrup). My rating is low because the boba are so small compared to all other boba spots - just a tiny bite.

Yifang has amazing fruit teas. This Taiwanese boba chain has a nice history as Yifang is the name of the grandma who owned a pineapple plantation. Anyways, the fruit teas are the main draw. I've tried to the other milk teas- and although its good- the fruit teas are superior. It can get a little packed and there are only 2 ordering kiosks, but there is plenty of space to sit and wait. There are no indoor tables, so most people just order and go due to the space. The parking - is a free parking lot, and even during busy times- it's not bad to find parking. Anyways, enjoy!!

During my rounds for Alameda Restaurant Week, I visited Yifang Taiwan Fruit Tea to capture their beverage offerings. What sets them apart is their use of real fruits in their drinks, not just flavored syrups. The result is super refreshing teas that taste light and very tropical - perfect for a warm day. If you're looking for a healthier boba option, their fruit-based drinks offer a nice alternative to the heavier, sweeter versions you might find elsewhere.
